Positions Available
Sales Manager

Responsibilities include managing sales staff, managing speaking coordinators and sales professionals, and assisting with regular and special events. Size of direct reports will flex between 3-5 individuals. However, as part of the management team you will be in a position to impact the organization as a whole, and also gain the benefits of working with both industry leading coaches as well as international speakers/trainers. Candidate is expected to promote existing sales strategies, as well as provide input for improvement.
Objectives are to train and assist staff to do the following: Close prospects into high quality events and educational programs via phone. Search, identify and close speaking engagements ranging from 50 attendees to 500 attendees. Assist and support special events, including feeder/lead generation events, educational seminars, etc.
Necessary skills are: Successful history of leading, motivating, and developing a sales team. Computer literate (Sales Force knowledge a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Commission Sales Positions

Located in Chicago, you will be working for one of the leading personal and leadership development firms in the industry. Approximately half of your time will be spent pitching media and speaking engagements for two best-selling authors and educators. Drs. Bob & Judith Wright have become sought after experts on a host of lifestyle, business, and leadership issues such as time management, high performance teams, relationships, family, sales, and "soft addictions"--seemingly harmless habits that rob you of time, energy, and resources.
The other half of your time will be spent assisting the Director of Marketing and running, managing, promoting, and overseeing the speaking engagements that Drs. Wright and their staff obtain/schedule. From online promoting to email marketing to face-to-face event management you will expand your current skill set as you learn to juggle a variety of different event aspects.
You will learn about meetings and media as you identify, evaluate, develop and secure speaking engagements with diverse organizations--industry associations, churches, women and men's groups, and more -- as well as radio, TV, and magazine appearances. You will also be prospecting to attract new students to our dynamic and proven educational programs.
Must be a great problem solver with high-level computer proficiency (MS Office), knowledgeable around social media sites, and excellent grammar skills. The Job:
We are looking for two real go-getters to join our existing three-person administrative team: an Executive/Personal Assistant to our CEO and President, and an Administrative Assistant.
As with any executive or administrative assistant position, the specific duties in our environment flex and flow day by day. The best way to give you an idea of the types of duties the job entails is to tell you some things you would have done last week if you’d already been hired:
Executive Assistant
- Register the CEO for a conference
- Schedule flights for two executive coaching engagements
- Update business development pipeline
- Correspond with potential new clients to provide materials and schedule introductory meetings
- Schedule radio interview for president and prepare reference notes
- Schedule 20-30 coaching sessions weekly for President and CEO
- File both executives’ correspondence, research, and client notes
- Send event audio out for transcription or arrange student transcribers
- Attend staff sales meetings and promote programs on your facebook, LinkedIn, email, etc.
- Record executive’s iPhone voicemail greeting
- Send flowers and a charitable contribution in memory of a business partner; send wedding presents to a client
- Brought your favorite summer dish to our Thursday noon potluck
- Provide secondary phone support
- Print large glossy copies of marketing materials for executive to review
- Respond to emails and social media communications from students
- Send assessments to executive coaching clients
Administrative Assistant
- Arrived each morning at 7:50 to open suites, turn on lights/music, clear any messes, stock all spaces with supplies
- Answered an inbound call every 3-5 minutes
- Processed purchases made through online shopping system, shipped orders as necessary, and assigned customers to follow-up programs (approx. 1-6 per day)
- Interviewed students for monthly e-zine articles and prepare first drafts
- Scheduled and requested bids for telecom service
- Worked with vendors to keep two photocopiers in working order
- Ordered office supplies for general use and upcoming events
- Scheduled work-study students to assist with front office during staff meetings

Must be a results-driven, creative, self-starter. Will be responsible for driving revenue through all digital media channels including social media, websites, outbound e-marketing campaigns, etc. Also responsible for production, collecting, organizing, posting, downloading and leveraging all media and content including written content, audio, and video. Must be able to run a sound board, operate web and telecasts, and troubleshoot AV.
Must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively, and serve as a one-person web team and production crew as well as recruiting and supervising interns.

Accountant/Bookkeeper

You will spend several months assisting and training with the current accountant as you grow to take responsibility for on time monthly P&L’s, payables/receivables, payroll, bank rec’s, cash flow analysis and tax filings for three cost centers.
